Transfer step manual

What this task is​

The platform creates this task when moving an account or MCC between manager accounts can't continue without a manual action in Google Ads. The operator's job is to complete the pending link step so the transfer can proceed.

When it appears: an account/MCC transfer between manager accounts stalled and needs an operator to send or accept a link request.

Step 1. Open the task​

  1. Go to the Operators' Tasks page.
  2. Find the task in the table and click Execute Task at the end of its row.
  3. A modal opens with the task details and the source/target account context. Keep it open — you'll need these values.
  1. On the Accounts page, send the link request to the target manager account.
  2. Or, in the invited account, accept the pending request via Admin.

Step 3. Verify and close​

Do not close the task early. Close it only after the client account is linked to the target manager account.

  1. Confirm the account now appears under the target manager.
  2. Return to the task modal and resolve it with a successful outcome.
  3. If the link cannot be completed, resolve the task with a failed outcome and a short reason instead.
