Google verification required
What this task is
The platform creates this task when a newly created Google Ads account still has a blocker before it can run — either advertiser verification or a billing approval is pending. The operator's job is to complete the required verification (and finish billing if that's the blocker), then close the task once Google clears it.
When it appears: a new account was created but advertiser verification or billing approval is still outstanding.
Step 1. Open the task
- Go to the Operators' Tasks page.
- Find the task in the table and click Execute Task at the end of its row.
- A modal opens with the task details and the account context. Keep it open — you'll need these values.
Step 2. Complete verification in Google Ads
- Open the account from the task and go to Admin → Policy → Account.
- Complete the required advertiser verification steps.
- In some cases the task may be blocked by Billing or Access invitation review (MPA). Finish the billing setup in Billing → Billing setups, or complete the invitation review in Admin → Access and security.

Step 3. Verify and close
Do not close the task early. If billing was the blocker, close it only after the
billing setup status in Google Ads is APPROVED or APPROVED_HELD.
- Confirm verification is complete and any billing blocker is cleared.
- Return to the task modal and resolve it with a successful outcome.
- If verification cannot be completed, resolve the task with a failed outcome and a short reason instead.
