Ads node link manual

What this task is​

The platform creates this task when a link in the hierarchy couldn't be created or confirmed automatically. The operator's job is to restore the manager link manually in Google Ads.

When it appears: an automatic manager link failed to be created or confirmed.

Step 1. Open the task​

  1. Go to the Operators' Tasks page.
  2. Find the task in the table and click Execute Task at the end of its row.
  3. A modal opens with the task details and the account context. Keep it open — you'll need these values.
  1. On the Accounts page, send the link request to the target manager account.
  2. If needed, accept the pending request via Admin in the invited account.

Step 3. Verify and close​

Do not close the task early. Close it only after the account is linked to the intended manager account.

  1. Confirm the account now appears under the correct manager.
  2. Return to the task modal and resolve it with a successful outcome.
  3. If the link cannot be completed, resolve the task with a failed outcome and a short reason instead.
