Ads access grant manual
What this task is
The platform creates this task when the Google Ads API couldn't invite, revoke, or change a user's access or invitation. The operator's job is to apply the required access change manually in Google Ads.
When it appears: a Google Ads API call to manage a user or invitation failed.
Step 1. Open the task
- Go to the Operators' Tasks page.
- Find the task in the table and click Execute Task at the end of its row.
- A modal opens with the task details (email, target access level). Keep it open — you'll need these values.
Step 2. Apply the access change in Google Ads
- Open Admin → Access and security.
- Apply the required action: grant access, change the access level, revoke access, or cancel a pending invitation.
- Double-check the email and access level before finishing.

Step 3. Verify and close
Do not close the task early. Close it only after the access reflects the expected state.
- Confirm the user or invitation now has the intended access level.
- Return to the task modal and resolve it with a successful outcome.
- If the change cannot be applied, resolve the task with a failed outcome and a short reason instead.
